Brothers and Friends of Madison Lodge, Welcome to 2008 ! Happy New Year to you and your family. Thank for choosing me as the Master of Madison Lodge for 2008. It’s an honor to serve you. Thanks goes out to the incoming 2008 team. WB Mario Calabro and WB Carmen Mangino are serving as Sr. and Jr. Wardens. RWB Paul Edman and Bro. Jeff Hessler are again serving as Sec’y and Treasurer (and as our adult supervision!). WB Dave Burns and Bro. Steve McHugh are our sr. and jr. deacons. Also starring is Bro. Kurt Schemmerling as Sr. Steward, with WB Roger Cole as Chaplain and WB Craig Sattler as Marshal. Bro. Craig Caplinger continues as Organist, and he knows his stuff musically. The big surprise this year is that Bro. Vern Beatrice is our Tyler. OK, that’s not a surprise. Vern would consider another office, but decided that he’d miss his sword and comfy “smurf-blue” chair. We’ll, “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”. Our usual program will continue. We plan to sponsor blood drives in the spring and fall, and also a CT CHIP program, possibly in May. Your volunteering for these programs will insure our success. Some other events for 2008: table lodge, awards night, wives appreciation night, and a summer family picnic… other fun activities will happen too. Let us continue in strengthening our friendships as masonry helps make us better men. With harmony, fellowship, and God’s blessing we’ll have a great 2008! Fraternally, John Edman, WM

Welcome to Madison Lodge 87 |
|
As Connecticut Freemasons we embrace the tenets of Friendship, Morality and Brotherly Love. We do this by using the teachings of Freemasonry to better ourselves, our community and each other. At Madison Lodge we make Masons and here at our website we show you our history, activities and schedule of future events.
The Masonic Fraternity does not invite anyone to become a member, instead we wait patiently for the special man to knock on our door and seek admittance. Perhaps your visit here is that "knock" on our outer door.
Feel free to browse our site; investigate us and Freemasonry! See for yourself what we are doing here. We hope this site interests you into becoming a better man and joining the greatest and largest Fraternity in the world. If you seek further information about our fraternity and our lodge, please stop by on the second Tuesday of the month at 7:30pm, or contact either one of the officers of our lodge, or the Grand Lodge of Connecticut.
Connecticut Freemasons: making a difference, here and around the world.
